Living with Climate Change - how to achieve a qualification

Total number of hours spent in College with tutor: 24

Suggested number of self-study hours: 12

Assessment will be continuous throughout the course and in keeping with the level of learning but will be supportive. Wherever possible, assessments have been designed to be effective without detracting from the enjoyment of the programme. The aim is to draw upon the life experiences of learners, without discrimination, empowering them to make informed choices about development and progression.

Learners will be helped to build-up a portfolio of relevant work for assessment and future uses. Tutors will carry out assessments (collecting additional evidence by observing individual and group contributions to sessions) and complete individual records of achievement. All evidence of achievement will be available for external moderation.
