Most (if not all) British Local Authorities have adopted Local Agenda 21 (LA21) - an international movement and information can be obtained from local authority LA21 teams (e.g. The Local Agenda 21 programme for North Staffordshire) also check whether there are local business networks (e.g. Staffordshire Business & Environment Network www.sben.co.uk).
