God & the environment - as above so below

God is all there is and all there is, is God. Thales said "the sum of all that is has a soul. God is the mind of the universe". Cicero asked, "why will you not admit that the universe is a conscious intelligence since conscious intelligences are born from it?" Jesus explained the nature of our relationship with this intelligence when he told his disciples that "I am in my Father and you in me, and I in you". Jesus spoke of God's love for all creation and told us that the greatest commandments were to love God and one another.

On this earth, each human body is part of the biosphere. It supports all our bodily needs yet we are part of it and can affect it for our actions are even altering the weather. Our biosphere is part of the Creation that is God and is sustained by the love that is God. We cannot claim to love God with all our heart soul and mind, if we ignore, mistreat or even hate any part of God.

The commandments Jesus gave come from knowledge of God and their truth can be learnt by all. One who truly knows God will also gain the knowledge of living sustainably within the environment that is God.
