Spiritual changes
The human ego (the biblical 'serpent') is seeking to assert its independence from and dominance over the creation, of which it is part. This is reaching a greater pitch, which is manifested as social conflict (including violent 'crime' and warfare) and economic activity that is regardless of the affect it has on the global biosphere. The effects of this behaviour return to hurt the ego through damage that the more violent social and physical climate does to human lives.
In a decade the problems will have mounted to a point where they cannot be ignored. Already there is a growing recognition that something is wrong, as individual egos confront and reflect upon the physical or spiritual malaise that they experience.
The problems that the human ego creates are overcome by recognising that violence does not solve anything and domination does not provide security. The 'final victory' will be achieved with the realisation that we are all part of creation and that the Creator is the only source of life, truth and happiness. At that dawn a new and more loving age will begin.
